Excellent optics in ZEISS quality
Simply seeing something at night is not enough — you also have to be able to determine exactly what you are seeing. Because the difference between a boar and the lead sow is often in the detail. That’s why the high-resolution HD LCOS display gives you exactly the detailed images you need for a sure response — even in complete darkness.
ZEISS DTI 3/35 — Innovative optics for the night
Hunting at night is a special experience for many hunters — but it places high demands on the equipment.
The thermal imaging cameras of the DTI 3 family are specially designed for hunting. Thanks to a high-resolution HD LCOS display that delivers detailed images even in darkness and at night, and an ergonomic design, ZEISS offers a specialist even for difficult lighting conditions. Specially developed by hunting experts for use in night hunting.
High frame rate
The ZEISS DTI 3/35 has a refresh rate of 50 Hz. This value indicates how often the monitor can redraw the screen per second. A higher refresh rate results in reduced flickering of the image, which reduces eye strain — for long, fatigue-free viewing.
Precise zoom
It is often the details that make the difference: The fine, gradual adjustment of the zoom in steps of 0.5 allows the perfect combination of magnification and detail recognition. This means that even the smallest details of the observed animals can be quickly spotted, which is absolutely necessary for a safe approach in the dark.
Colour palettes
The ZEISS DTI 3/35 offers 4 different colour tone palettes. Choose the setting that best suits your requirements. “Black Hot” and “White Hot” provide high-contrast images. These settings are excellent for detecting, recognising and addressing. The “Red Hot” colour mode allows for quick detection of heat signatures, especially in densely vegetated environments. The colour mode “Rainbow” is suitable for detecting smaller temperature differences.
Picture-in-picture function
The picture-in-picture function of the ZEISS DTI 3/35 allows a simultaneous view of the zoomed image section above the original image. This feature helps to keep an eye on the animal you are observing in zoom mode, even during sudden movements.
Optimal fit
The innovative design of the optics allows operation with one hand. This is optimised for both left-handers and right-handers. The ergonomic shape of the device allows a natural posture with the fingertips resting on the controls. This favours long and fatigue-free observation.
Perfect ergonomics
Stalking at night requires a high level of attention. To avoid having to concentrate additionally on operating the optics, ZEISS has developed the ErgoControl operating concept: With the intelligent positioning of the buttons, every function can be controlled intuitively. The optimally shaped operating elements can be quickly grasped in the dark and cold.
Connectivity via Hunting App
Nature behaves very differently in the dark than in daylight. This makes for fascinating observations that are so unique that you want to save them and share them with others. Using the ZEISS Hunting App, data from the thermal imaging camera can be transferred directly to a smartphone via WLAN and the night-time hunting experiences can be shared.
Carrying strap
The carrying strap of the DTI 3/35 is attached to two tie-down points, just like binoculars. This allows you to release the device quietly and silently from your hand to reach for the weapon. Likewise, you can pick up the device again without looking, as it is securely placed around your neck and does not dangle uncontrollably.
