Pulsar Proton FXQ30
Category: Thermal Vision Attachments
(Clip-On) Attachment Thermal Vision Device
(Thermal vision attachment) for daylight units
The Proton XQ30 is a dual-use thermal imager consisting of a thermal imaging module and an attachable monocular. Attached to a rifle scope, the thermal imaging module functions as an attachment.
Whether in the rain, snow, fog, early morning after a cold night — the Proton FXQ clearly shows the slightest temperature differences when observing in the most unfavourable conditions for the hunter and the equipment.
A few seconds of time and a Pulsar 5x30B monocular are all it takes to detach the Proton FXQ30 from the scope and turn it into a 5x magnification thermal imager.

Impact-resistant magnesium alloy housing
The robust and lightweight magnesium alloy housing has high structural rigidity, protects the attachment from shocks and vibrations when firing large-calibre hunting rifles and ensures stable ballistic performance during operation. The metal of the housing, which is resistant to external mechanical, temperature and climatic influences, effectively extracts and dissipates heat from the electronic components of the attachment, increasing the quality of its operation.
Recoil resistant in large calibres: 12 gauge, 9.3×64, .375H&H
Proven impact resistance — up to 6000 J — for flawless performance with large calibre rifled weapons and smoothbore hunting rifles (12 gauge, 9.3x64, .375H&H).
High contrast AMOLED display
The AMOLED display delivers a sharp, high-contrast image. The display features economical power consumption, wide dynamic range and fast response time, providing sharp and smooth imaging when observing in motion or in frosty conditions.
Wireless remote control panel
Ergonomically designed Pulsar BT remote control panel with a steering wheel allows full functionality under your fingers and easy remote control of the unit.
IPX7 Absolutely waterproof
IPX7 Absolutely waterproof to protect against heavy rain, snow and other precipitation. The unit is designed to function properly even after 30 minutes of immersion in water up to 1 m deep.
Wide range of operating temperatures (from ‑25°C to +50°C)
Quick-change battery
Li-ion APS 5
The high-performance APS5 quick-change Li-Ion battery provides up to 6 hours of continuous operation on a single charge. The safety and durability of APS5 batteries are ensured by built-in electronic protection systems. The battery is removed from the battery compartment in a few seconds and replaced with a new one.
8 colour palettes
The eight-colour hue palette facilitates observation, solves a wide range of tasks and enables quick response to changing observation conditions. The White Hot, Black Hot and Red Hot palettes are ideal for object detection, while the Rainbow and Ultramarine palettes enhance detection and identification functions. The Red Monochrome, Sepia and Violet palettes are best suited for long-term observation at night.
Wi-Fi. Integration with iOS and Android devices
The built-in Wi-Fi module connects the Proton FXQ30 to smartphones or tablets based on Android and iOS operating systems using the Stream Vision mobile application. The combination of a smartphone and a thermal imager offers you unique possibilities — wireless software update for the unit, image transfer to the screen of a mobile device, remote control of the digital functions of the unit and live transmission of the image captured with the attachment to the internet using streaming video services and YouTube.
Built-in photo and video recorder with 16 GB internal memory
The built-in recorder is particularly useful when it comes to filming or photographing a unique experience. A click of a button is all it takes to capture a photo or video of an interesting situation that you want to share with your friends and hunting colleagues. With 16 GB of internal memory, you can record many hours of video and tens of thousands of photos that can later be transferred to a smartphone or PC.

Image Detail Boost for improved targeting
The function of enhanced highlighting of objects in an observation scene. Image Detail Boost significantly increases the sharpness of observed objects, clearly identifies contours and highly informatively visualises the smallest objects (twigs, dry wood) in the field of view and in areas with little temperature difference. The function applies in particular to a qualitative determination of the trophy value of an animal during hunting.
Target position
Our high-end components allow the shooter to disregard the presence of the attachment in front of the optical scope’s objective when shooting at night and to make no additional adjustments when aiming.
The design of the attachment ensures a stable aiming point position when mounted in front of the daylight scope and when refocusing the attachment at different distances.
Easy conversion of the attachment into a thermal imaging observation device
A few seconds of time and a Pulsar 5x30B monocular are all it takes to detach the Proton FXQ30 from the scope and transform it into a thermal imaging observation device with 5x magnification. A bayonet catch allows the Pulsar 5x30B monocular to be easily and securely connected to the thermal imaging attachment and is just as easy to remove.
An important feature is that the PSP adapter, which mounts the Proton FXQ30 to the optical scope, can remain on the thermal imaging attachment when used with the Pulsar 5x30B monocular. This ensures the Proton FXQ30 converts easily and quickly from an attachment to a thermal imaging monocular and back again.
Light and compact
Light weight is especially important when the attachment is mounted on the weapon and complements the weight of the weapon. The compact size of the device facilitates operation and storage.
