Binocular thermal vision devices
The optical design of the Merger LRF binoculars is tailored to the nature of human vision. Naturally, a person takes in information from seeing through two visual channels at the same time. Seeing with two eyes is less tiring than seeing with one eye. This means better detection of small or faint objects and better performance in low-contrast scenarios than comparable thermal monoculars of the same technical level.
The eye relief of the Merger LRF binoculars is adjustable from 62 to 74mm to customize it to the needs of each user.

High-resolution thermal imaging camera with built-in precision laser range finder
The built-in laser rangefinder with a range of up to 1 kilometer lets you measure the distance in single measurement and continuous scanning modes with an accuracy of ± 1 meter — for calculating the precise distance of the target.
When observing under conditions with the lowest temperature contrast as well as in rain or fog, a highly sensitive sensor with 25 mK NETD also detects only very small temperature differences. The resolution of 640x480 pixels ensures reliable identification of the target.
Variable magnification from 2.5x to 20x
Up to 8x digital zoom provides improved sharpness and better recognition of an object at long distances. The zoom can either be adjusted in 2x steps or continuously for a really optimal field of view tailored to the respective situation.
Robust magnesium alloy body
The Merger LRF is designed for constant, often tough use. The magnesium alloy body is light and strong at the same time. The housing reliably protects the internal components of a thermal imaging device against shock, falling, moisture, heat or cold. At the same time, the metal housing dissipates heat from the electronics, minimizes image noise and increases the operational stability of the device during long-term observations.
Built-in photo and video recorder
The Merger LRF has a built-in video recorder. The Merger LRF’s internal memory can store hours of video and tens of thousands of photos. One push of a button is enough to take a picture of an interesting subject or start a video recording. The recordings are copied to a computer hard drive via a USB‑C connection.
The Merger LRF owner is provided with 16GB of storage space to store photos and videos captured with the device in Pulsar cloud storage. Just install the Stream Vision 2 mobile application, sign up and connect the device to a smartphone via Wi-Fi.
Improved Wi-Fi connectivity with 2.4 / 5 GHz band support
With the Merger LRF, the frequency range of the standard smartphone connection is supplemented by an effective 5 GHz range via a 2.4 GHz WiFi channel. The 5GHz connection provides better bandwidth, faster data transfer rate, noise immunity and improved connection stability, resulting in more productive and easier operation of the thermal binoculars with a smartphone.
High-contrast HD AMOLED screen
The new AMOLED display with an HD resolution of 1024x768 offers improved color reproduction, economical power consumption, high contrast and fast response time, providing clear and smooth images when observing on the move or in the cold.
A choice of 8 color palettes
A choice of 8 color palettes allows the user to better observe their field of view, optimize the device for specific tasks and react to changing observation conditions. White-Hot, Black-Hot and Red-Hot are optimal for detecting an object, Rainbow and Ultramarine increase the chances of detection and identification. Red Monochrome, Sepia and Violet are best for long night observations.
Waterproof to IPX7 with a wide temperature range
Waterproof to IPX7 to protect against heavy rain, snow or other types of moisture. The device is designed to function properly even when submerged in water up to 1 meter deep for up to 30 minutes.
The housing, power supply, optics and electronics of the Merger LRF are designed for applications in a wide temperature range. The Merger LRF ensures reliable and effective performance in freezing cold down to ‑25°C.
Remote control via a smartphone and software update with the Stream Vision 2 app
The integrated WiFi connects the Merger LRF to Android and iOS smartphones via the Stream Vision 2 mobile application. This opens up a multitude of possibilities, such as: B. wireless software updates of the device, real-time image transmission from the device to the smartphone screen, posting photo and video content taken with the device on social media or transmission to messenger applications, remote control of digital device functions and access to the latest news from Pulsar. Also, registered users get 16GB of cloud storage for photos and videos captured with the device.
