The Pulsar Forward FN455S digital night vision monocular is a handheld night vision device with high-quality workmanship. The model is identical to the previous model FN455, but a new IR illuminator has been integrated. With new options for addressing at night and in poor weather conditions, the device has established itself optimally in hunting and animal observation with an observation distance of more than 500 meters at night.

Night sensitivity
Thanks to the latest electronic components and efficient signal processing program algorithms, this night vision device has one of the highest sensitivity parameters in the infrared range (night sensitivity).
With the FN455S, you can work with a sensitivity of 900–950 nm in the deepest twilight without an IR emitter.
Over 500 m visibility at night
High night sensitivity, display and sensor resolution, large range of brightness and contrast settings, high-quality high-performance optics and powerful infrared radiator for night-time operation.
In this way, detection ranges of up to 500 meters can be achieved.
High night sensitivity
The Forward F455s uses proprietary software and advanced electronic components to deliver one of the highest levels of sensitivity in the infrared spectrum (light sensitivity). The result is a device that delivers flawless nighttime performance in passive mode without turning on the IR illumination. High sensitivity in the range of 900–950 nm enables the device to be used with “invisible” infrared emitters.
Improved sensor and HD resolution
Where the FN155 still worked on a sensor with 702 x 526 pixels, the FN455s boasts a CMOS sensor and a resolution of 1280×720 HD (HD sensor) and thus records significantly more image information. This leads to an overall very good image performance and detailed view.
Ready for immediate use
Forward FN switching time is less than 3 seconds after the ON button is activated.
Four-point bayonet mount with automatic cocking
The Forward connects to the company adapter using a four-point bayonet lock. Pulsar offers three models of adapters for mounting on telescopes with objective diameters of 40, 42, 50, 56 mm.
Firmware Algorithm to Increase Sensitivity (SumLight)
The SumLight function increases the sensitivity of the sensor, which enables observation even without an IR illuminator in low light. The sensor works with the latest Pulsar software, which automatically changes the sensitivity of the device without loss of image quality by processing algorithms.
Weather resistant
Forward FN is completely waterproof and has IPX7 water protection. The device works in precipitation of any intensity and survives brief submersion.
Operation at low temperatures — possible down to minus ‑25°C to 50°C.
Video and sound recording
With the built-in video recorder, photos and videos of the hunt can be made, even with sound through the integrated microphone. Images and videos are stored in internal memory and can be transferred to cellphone or laptop via Wi-Fi or cable.

Conversion of a daylight rifle scope into a night vision scope
Adapters of different diameters are provided for mounting on the lens of the riflescope. The adapter remains fixed on the scope lens. This allows Forward F to be quickly mounted in front of the riflescope lens and used for night shooting. The adapter also serves as a protective cover (included in the scope of delivery) for the objective lens when the attachment is not in use.
B‑Pack accumulator batteries with a very long service life
Quickly exchangeable IPS7 (6.5 Ah) power supply unit ensures incredible 7 hours of operation in the maximum activated mode, more powerful IPS10 (10 Ah) and IPS14 (13.2 Ah) battery packs can be used as an option.
