When using this distance thread ring with outer thread M52x0,75mm to inner thread M52x0,75mm in combination with an Alpha Photonics® clamp adapter type‑A, the distance between the eyepiece part of the night vision device and the objective lens of the daylight optics will increased by 15mm. This method allows to use daylight optics, where the objective lens is too close to the edge of the lens housing.
